Just swap out the muffler and kill the kitty till you get well above 500 hp or you are wasting your money...

If you aren't going over 550hp 4 inch is fine. Your stock exhaust is 4 inch so either replace the muffler or get a delete pipe and save some $$$. If your going over 550hp (or plan on it in the future) you should go with 5 inch. The Magnaflow 5 inch isn't a true 5 inch. It necks down to 4 inch when it goes through the muffler. Other than that the brand you go with is just preference as far as looks and sound. Most, if not all, brands are mandrel bent and pretty free flowing.

For the record... no, bigger is not always better. For low end performance, you lose a little torque with big exhaust. That is why you wait until you are over a certain HP. MBRP even makes the "torque tube" for 4" exhaust to address this issue... I would have true 4" throughout myself except the HT3B has a 5" outlet...

FWIW-- 5" MBRP is true 5" throughout and sounds good, no drone and not too loud. Silverline is also a quality product. I like turbo back for egt reasons-- you may have a concern about removing the kitty where you live and removing federally mandated emissions stuff yada, yada, yada...

I think it's Magnaflow's duals that neck down to 4 inch in the muffler.
