Single vs. compound turbo Mpg difference

Hi, someday I will be upgrading the turbo in my truck. I was thinking about doing a 04.5+ turbo over a S400 with supporting mods of course. But how would the fuel mileage compare on compounds vs. a 62 or 64 single? (At normal operation i.e. not WOT all the time) Thanks in advance!

I have had a few sets of twins, each a little bigger than the last. I never saw a whit of difference in MPGS one way or the other. Same going from the stock single to my first set of twins.

It went down for me when I swapped from my stocker to my HTT, cause I loved the feel of actually feeling more boost, and hearing the sound of that turbo! LOL. But thats just me lol.
