Silverstars

I had read many posts about how good and/or bad Sylvania's Silverstars are and aren't. I installed mine today and wanted to show the difference I can see right off. I wanted to post some pictures so everyone could see what the difference is for their reference. I have not run them in the dark yet but I can tell a difference in the daylight. I can only assume they will be better in the dark.

I'm trying to upload pictures of the difference. Note in one picture. The left headlight is the new Silverstar. The right is the stock bulb. In the other picture The headlights are the Slverstars and the fogs are still stock. Note the headlights use to be the same brightness as the fogs. They now are much whiter and brighter.

Hope this helps others.

I have them in my headlights and fog lights with the Brite Box Fogzilla. I am very happy with mine.

i have had four silverstars go bad over the past nine months in two different vehicles. each time i contacted sylvania who replaced them after i sent back the bad one. form their own mouth- silverstar's are only designed to last for about a year!! i have since gone back to philips vision plus. i intially went to silverstar's because the philips vision plus is hard to find.

I like mine well enough that I have no interest in spending the money on converting to HID's...and I had HID's on the previous car.
