RyeThomas had a Silverline dual setup on his truck. It looked awesome but it wasn't very loud...
I think he has it in the classifieds. It was really nice with the dual 6" tips too. I'd buy that and just put a louder muffler on it.....

I am running the dual 4" Silverline kit with 6" Black Chrome tips. It love it. It is deeper than stock, but not very loud at all, which makes itawesome for daily driving and road trips.

i just tryed to install my new mbrp single today and had to end up re-installing the stock exhaust because the mbrp would not fit. i could get the rear section and the muffler together but the muffler didnt even come close to lining up straight w/ the cat. the muffler and the cat came together cocked and the muffler only slid over the cat about 1/2", nowhere near as far or as straight as it needs to. i even loosened the clamp on the turbo/downpipe to move the cat back and forth w/ no luck. and the hangers on the muffler are nowhere close to where they should be, one hanger basically isnt doing anything since the rubber would be sideways instead of up and down since the muffler hanger ended up being directly next to the hanger on the truck instead of underneath of it. when i did leave it together cocked and took a look from the rear of the truck, the tip of the rear section was only a few inches off the ground. i thought this had to be the wrong exhaust but the part numbers are correct and the instructions say 04.5-06 so i dont know what to do. i guess i will either try to sell it or end up cutting and welding later on when i have the time. i also have the cat delete pipe, but i did not try to install that yet because the truck will go in for warranty soon. maybee the cat delete pipe will give a little more angle to meet the muffler better. needless to say i am very dissapointed w/ this highly overpriced, overrated, poor fitting excuse for a direct replacement aftermarket exhaust system and i will never buy mbrp products again. i almost went w/ the silverline system and now i wish i would have.

ive put on mbrp exhaust on an 01 it fit up really good. I would see if you guys could call mbrp and talk to someone. all the exhaust systems I buy for my truck fit up like poop. Ive had 5" on both my 05 & 06 and both systems were cheaply made. I would like to put on something stainless at least a muffler and tailpipe, dont have any luck finding anything under 400 for just that.

I told myself the same very thing after fighting with the install of their duals on my '06. Guess what? I ended up getting their tips as they are something like $30 a piece cheaper than the Magna Flow tips I was looking at.

Still do not like the mbrp stuff. Poor fit all the way around. How hard is it to make a set of duals that are the same length? Seems like I have a pass. side tailpipe for a single rear wheel truck and a drivers side tailpipe for the dually.

good looking out Dodgezilla, its still in my garage. And in my opinion is the best looking exhaust out (besides stacks ) and with their straight pipe 304SS from silverline it may sound a little louder. Oh and its getting cheaper by the day, the warden is tired of looking at it.

funny stuff Rye

One reason I avoided duals was because I had seen more than a few and none of them looked even. Back when I had gassers and used to take them to the local muffler guy even he had a hard time getting them right even with me out there measuring, eyeballing and helping. And they always turned out pretty good but if you looked at them closely from lots of angles you could see they weren't "exact" but only a picky person could tell. It's almost impossible to get them perfect. If you've got a set and they look good consider yourself lucky. If not then get ready to do some bending, beating, and welding.

I was able to get mine on, however I agree, the fit could be alot better.

Mines going over to the muffler shop tomorrow to get the tailpipe -rebent, and shortened to fit "right". It's sticks way too far down at an angle and way too far out from the side of the truck. My muffler guy just looked at it and
said "those guys don't care if it fits, they just want your money".
So as many great things as I've heard about MBRP at this site(some of you guys must own mbrp stock), I give it maybe a 6 out of 10. O'h and the hanger, yes, you have to hang it sideways - that's the only way it will work.
I'll have mine cut and rewelded - again to make it right. The wels on the muffler caps look like they were done by a 16 year old.

p.s. My recommendation is anyone wanting a little better sound, lower egt's, whatever, just get the muffler and tip - take it to a muffler shop and have it installed. Don't buy a system like me that doesn't fit.

assume by your sig. it's an 03? MBRP probably designed one system and then when the trucks exhaust systems change from year to year, they don't update the design. They just assume it will still fit. I see it so many times with motorcycle aftermarket manufacturers. Try one on an 07 and see how it fits!

Does the silverline only come in a 4" not a 5"?
