Silver Bullet last night

Well installed the bullet last night, pretty simple install I did take the manifold off..and it was sooooo much easier than trying to do it with it on. I highly suggest anyone doing a turbo swap to take off the ex manifold...and having a buddy to help I got brave did it alone it pretty heavy so extra hands would have been a lot easier...........a few other suggestions when in stalling a new turbo use lithuim grease to get the oil drain tube back in the block that thing is a beast to get back in lol. and Doooooo nooot over tightn ex manifold bolts!!!! I strip the no 3. cyl threads a lil bit but seems to be tight enuf 18# max. there was not boost leaks so I think ill be fine. I got it up to temp then rolled into a lil and it jump to about 49 psi seems to be working good. I do think it is a laggy turbo and is happier around 1800 rpms and up so if you could keep it in that range its a monster! now all I need to do is sell the htt 62/14.

there is a little allen head screw on the boost elbow that you turn to increase or decrease. just follow the hose coming off the wastegate...i think it comes set at 45 psi ... thanks Tac, Dodge12vking was suposed to come help me this morning but I couldn't wait so I did it last night. .. I did get 66 silver bullet

Did you have to change your downpipe in anyway? I'm installing a silver 62 right now and its about 1 inch longer so with the elbow on its hitting the firewall and trans dip tube. I thought this was going to be so easy but its a pretty tuff job. Removing the manifold helped alot and the studs they sent with it are to short. Didn;t get a resistor either. Guess I'll be downloading the aftermarket turbo software programs tonight.

Mine bolted up to the stock downpipe fine. If you need a little extra room pound in the fire wall a little. II told me that I may need to dent the fire wall a little to fit the silverbullet and jacobs brake. But it fit fine.

Mine bolted right up no problem there is a bolt that holds the trans stick in you can loosen it then tighten it after you get it in there.
good luck

There's only one Silver Bullet (66), the 62 and 64 are not called Bullets.. they are just Silvers 62 and 64.
