I still dont get how you guys stay so cool.
On 6/3 standard I can hit 1400 on a hard run.

TT03 and I can hit 1500 before I reach 100

 

Don't the Silver series turbos flow alot more on the exhaust side??? That would be the answer, if so...

 

More, yes, alot more, I dont know. But it seems to me a 66/71/14 should cool better than a 62/74/14. Maybe I am way off here as I am no turbo tech tough.

 

Neither am I..... I wish I understood exactly what those numbers meant. I know it would be 66mm on the side thats making boost and 14cm sqared?? I think on the exhaust, but I'm still not sure what the 71-74 number represents... Is this the size of the exhaust turbine? If so, then maybe that bigger piece allows more exhaust to flow easier???
I want an expert to teach us... I hate not knowing...

 

The 71or 74 is the exhaust turbine in mm, but the turbine has in iducer and exducer as does the compressor. Yeah, it gets confusing.
