Silver faced instrument guages

I'm lookin for some silver faced guages for my truck with red backlighting. I was wondering if anybody knew where I might find these. Also wondering if anybody has changed the backlighting on the stock guages. Thanks.

Gotcha... I didn't realize you meant the gauge cluster. I've seen pictures of the metal overlays before, but I can't remeber who made it or who posted it. Maybe someone will have an idea....

Wow, Shovelhead! I'm glad you posted what BTT means because I never knew for sure and just assumed it was "Bump This Thread". LOL. Now I know what it REALLY stands for!

Do a and use the key words ,,,,,, white face ,,,,,,,,or,,,,,,,, dash overlay ,,,,,, and you should come up with some threads concerning the overlays you are looking for. Not sure if they have the silver or not. One of the members has a dash overlay that is brushed aluminum and it is shown in one of the threads.

Hmmmmmmm... You know, I'm not even sure that those things would look very good. I mean...since it's one big gauge cluster, nobody's fooling anybody by making them think that each gauge has a white face--it's just a big piece of black and white plastic. Now on the cars that have individual gauges, I think it looks a lot cooler but something about that just make me think...cheap. <shrugs> I dunno.

Maybe it looks totally different when it's actually in a dash and I KNOW it looks a lot different when it's night time and the dash lights are turned on. Still though...I dunno...
