I considered that but after talking to DOT in Canada and the USA, I got away from it.

Something I did learn is the province of Ontario has banned triple gauge A pillars. The folks that do my thermoforming do products for RV and ambulance companies. They got the bulletin stating it impairs vision as well as the handle in the Ram is a specific item DOT states is integral to their regulations. I doubt anyone other then Ontario will enforce this and I doubt it will be enforced on private vehicles.

Is the grab handle really a DOT item in Canada?

That is too bad mischifdad...to wait to the 11th hour then quit? It is almost done...if Scotty was not such a perfectionist, one would be in my truck right now!

I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Scotty does some amazing stuff and will only release it to the public when it meets his satisfaction (which I might say is extremely high). And not only will it look good, it will fit perfectly and look factory.

Hey! Have a little patience, will ya? It's only been 9 and a half months... these things take time.

Lots of progress. There are a few prototypes out there to determine a few fit alternatives as well as final parts needed for install.

Funny guys...

No one ever imagined that it ould take this long. Many many tries it took...couple with a few turns of bad luck for Scotty and what you see is what you get. The install is taking place and the pictures will be out soon.

Those who waited will be rewarded.

GreenZ, have you ever developed an idea into a product before? It is a little harder than it seems.
