This is my first time using this but I’m in desperate need of advice!!

My 05 broke down right after I got on the hwy and I can’t get it running. When I turn the key everything seems normal except none of my gauges work and when I try to start the truck the engine turns but won’t start. I was thinking that it might be the alternator but I’m a bit lost rn. Any advice would be very helpful and appreciated!
