Should I get the 2" leveling ket or do a 4.5 or 6" lift?

I agree. I threw my Rancho in the trash in favor of a set of Bilsteins on my Titan.

you've had the RANCHO RS9000X and the bilstein 5100 and you like the bilstein better? Why?? Better ride, NO DW?

Yeah I thought the ride was better and I never had a problem with the bilsteins. I had to return a couple of the Rancho's, the housing on one of them cracked.

I'm not sure what this DW (death wobble) is. I've never experience it and I've had several lifted vehicles.

TX_Diesel,

Rims are Ultra type 140, 20x9, 3.73, power not noticeable lost, manual.

Vicking,
In the photo title "turn 2" you can see the Reviteck packs, just above the shine of the shock.

PS: I sold that truck (04.5) a few months ago, I am working on a 06 now.

ok, so back to the 2" leveling kit since that pretty much all I will do and all I want to do:

1. Whats the difference between the $80 STEEL and $150 polyurathane spacers? Which to go for?

2. What would happen if I just put the spacers and left my stock shocks?

3. Is there a big difference between the stock shocks and the ranchos, bilstein.....etc??? will it ride more like a cadillac with the bilsteins or what???

Im thinking of just maybe leaving the shocks stock

HOW do you like your HUGE AS$ tires?? I see you even put them on the stock wheels. How is the MPG and trans.....etc does it feel much slower b/c of the gigantic tires?

well I've definetly concluded to go with the bilstein 5100 shocks. All I have left now is to know the differences and which you would/wouldnt buy between:

HELL BENT Steel spacers for $80, DAYSTAR polyurathane spacers for $150 or COILS instead for about $150. All being a 2" leveling kit. Whats the biggest difference between them all. Remember, 95% all pavement driving.

Here's a post from another thread at DTR.

mjf6715 - you will find that Bilstein lists a shock for raised (2in) 3gen 2500. The "catch" is that it wasnt designed "specifically" for our trucks but nonetheless fits and is the right length.
And the shock he's talkin about is the BE5-6681H5.
