the difference is worth more that $700.
the power is WAY beyond what a Bank$ will make. The smarty is also a code scanner for both engine and abs. you can adjust for larger tire sizes. it enables the high idle feature. you can load it into a friends truck to let them see for themselves what smarty can do for you. the customer support is more incredible than the product is. more people are buying smarty's and posting good things about it than any Bank$ product. the smarty doesnt however come in a fancy box that says "will not void your warranty". It comes shipped to your door in 3 days, has a nice injection molded case with the cable and downloader in it, and something special with it.

Auto = Level 3 or 60hp
Manual = Level 5 or 90hp

Some will say higher, i'm conservative and that's what it says with the smarty documentation! I have a stock auto, so i dont go past level 3 and I love it!

Smarty & '07

I bought one for my new '07 recently and have set it @sw#3. I carry 2000# on my back 24/7 and its more than restored the power I had before the camper application. Driveability is so much better too. EGT's are normal here in San Diego which is quite level overall. I'm going camping in our mountains soon and will be at an elevation of 5500'. I expect more smoke but nothing like my old '99 which smoked like a banshee from a start up there with an EZ and mach 1.6's. Mileage with the Smarty has gone up.Last tank increased 1.6mpg's from prior tank without Smarty. I'll check it next tank again as I hope it's not an anomoly. Tire recalibration feature is neat too. I'll check it with my GPS on the camp trip as I'll rack up more than 125 miles.

Make sure you tell BOB Wagner that!
I am not affiliated with mads electronics, I am just a happy customer that has gotten great support from Bob and Marco.
