Well should I buy a smarty? Is it worth it?

I'm running a Triple Dog, Power Puck and Quad fooler on my 03 at the moment and it runs pretty good but I'm looking for more. How much do you think I would gain taking everything off and just running a smarty? What kind of HP is the REVO software making?

-All of the basics are down, Airdog, Clutch is good, gauges, intake exhaust etc.

-I'm not worried about just the Quarter Mile since I've got a six speed and like my clutch(not a DD). I just want this thing to scream from 20 to 120.

-So the question is how much will I gain with the Smarty? Remember this is a 555 motor.

You know the real reason why I'm posting this? I got beat by a mini a few days ago...... 0 to 70 we were neck and neck. I expected to smoke him. On the strait away he was just gone! My truck hit 125 and he just kept on gong must have been doing 140+ my jaw just about dropped. Real nice guy to, I just want to give him a little supprise on the lower end next time around.

Probally the best programmer you can get for a dodge 3rd gen, you will have twice as much low end with it. He will be looking at your tailgate next time at 70!!!!

I think it's worth it. With the upcoming Revo programs it will make stacking obsolete.

How much power would a smarty really gain me over what I have though? I belive you when you say its great but I'd love to see the numbers. What kind of HP gain can I expect out of my 555?

I already stated in my first post I have the supporting mods. I shouldnt need to fill out my sig to ask a question as to what kind of power it makes. I dont even own a smarty.

Easy there SS, the guys are only trying to help you... No body wants to see anyone else blow up a truck, and they just want to see that you haven't over looked any areas that would cause this....

Your asking kind of a loaded question, Smarty has some BETA stuff out there that would make the best trucks squeel like a greased pig in a bar full or red necks...

You can go to thier site and see that they advertise 130 with thier stock software, but then have more modded software for modded trucks and of course that is all dependant on your specific set-up...

Here is what I can tell you. I have had a MP-8 for 3 years and 50,000 miles and drove with it turned up 90% of the time... Last week I recieved my smarty... The smarty (stock software/stock TQ management/level 5 setting) didn't feel as strong on level 5 as my MP-8 did at 100%, but it did feel alot smoother... I turned up the MP-8 to about 50% and it was a completely different truck and a little scary...

Yesterday I uploaded the Mod TQ management program and it made a pretty big difference, now the MP-8 can just sit idle unless I need some kind of majic stop light (or tranny) "KILL" switch...

Here is my take on it...

The smarty is the "TST" of programmers, I doubt you will ever have enough mods to support what it is capable of producing with some custom tunes..

How are your EGT's now??? The Quad boost fooler you have, is that the electrical (sensor) one??? If so, then how did you increase boost pressure?

Contact Bob Wagner. He can probably find someone local for you to try out a SMARTY.

people fill out a sig for any question so they can get the best awnser without having to ask you what you have, the sig tells everyone what you have then people can answer your questions much better,to answer yours without knowing the mods you have, people would guess, without suporting mods maybe the smarty will only give u 130hp,if you list your mods maybe you have what it takes to get the smarty to make over 200hp.
