that sounds good. if you search for leveling kits on ebay you can get one that comes with pro comp shocks for like $175... i picked one up for mine. its considerably cheaper than the set up your looking at. the steering brace is a good idea.

it will look really good when your done, but with 4.5" backspacing you might want to look into some fender flares if its illegal in your state to have tires out past the fenders....

I thought the resi shox were much more rough unless used for aggressive off-road.

Most resi shocks are valved pretty stiff so that combo won't yield a very good ride. For the money that you will have in that you should look at some Carli stuff. You will be better off with some good springs and a set of Bilstein 5100's.

As far as control arms go, if you want you axle to be centered in the wheelwell you will need longer ones. Althought they may not be required to clear the tires you are looking at.

you'll need more than 2" in the front to clear that wheel and tire combo. i had to put a 4" superlift on mine to clear the pro comp wheels. just my .02

So 35's will clear stock height truck with stock rims, but if u want an after market wheel with decent backspaceing u hafta skip the leveling kit and go with a 4"? **** that sucks!

I have a 3in lvl kit from pro comp with rancho 9k shocks and 35x12.50in tires with 20x10in KMC Badlands rims. I had to do a lil bending of the fender but it is not noticeable and I have had ZERO issues.
