Shock Comparison

Ok I am going to order up a set of Bilstiens, All of the companies that sell them mention that they have "there" specific valving for the ctd trucks, (Carli, Lorenze, Geno's and the list goes on) Does anyone have real world experience with this. Is there actually a difference? The financial saving between them seems to be the lowest is about $40 cheaper than the others. If you havent had real world experience please dont start chime in, im not intersted in a suspension war

Bilsteen says they don't exist...LOL. But I am sure they are out there.

If there is any difference there is less compression damping and as much rebound damping as possible in the rear.

Get the part numbers?

Companies will custom taylor their products for a minium order. I believe Lorenz and others may have custom valving and other enhancments for reliability and length of stroke. Sometimes it's best to have something that's tuned for our trucks. Most of the stuff we put on our trucks is special built.
You only have to drive a truck with a tuned suspension once!!
