I believe most everyone thinks they have good products, just that they are really proud of their stuff and you could get the same (minus the purple) for less $.

Mostly, everyone just complains about their customer service. I've been dealing with ATS for 4 years now, no problems.

Someone must like them because they sell a lot of stuff. A coworker of mine did the a full tranny from ATS and he loves it and has had no problems with it or them.

Completely agree with that! Good products that they are way too proud of. An s300 (their Aurora 3000) can be had for far cheaper elsewhere if you wanna put in the effort to do some research. I've heard nothing but bad feedback of their customer service. I actually had an issue with them last February after buying my clutch. To make a long story short, under the description of the clutch kit, with a "generic picture" (in their words) showing a flywheel, it NOW says "flywheel not included." I only bought the kit because it was far cheaper than even Southbend directly. Turns out, it was because the flywheel didn't come with it as the picture led me to believe. The description at the time didn't mention that the flywheel wasn't included. That was a nice $200 surprise after it had already been installed. They got a piece of my mind shortly after that and offered me 20% off any product with no expiration. We'll see if they hold up their end of that bargain when I buy an exhaust manifold.

I was happy with my a3k while it was on. Just out grew it quickly. A a3k wouldn't be a upgrade for your truck being you have a 351 turbo. I would recommend to choose a different turbo.

For about the same cash look at the Garrett Stage 2 Powermax, Tom at Turbo Resource is the man to talk to about Garrett's.

Agreed, they are very proud of their products. A co-worker of mine was looking at buying one of their trannys....to the tune of about $5K!!!!!! I had a local turbo shop build my s-300 based 62/65 for $1250 out the door! I have no experience with ATS, I just know that their prices are just as high as the Rocky Mountains they reside in.

We (my son) and I are deal with them now. He bought a stage 2 trans. 5-25-11., for a 06' 5.9l, had it shipped to Cal. dealer put it in. It had a leak in the rear seal, and seems to start off in second gear. Dealer is doing pressure tests now, today, to see if it is the valve body assist. so it is now 6-20-11. Had front drive line issue with balance weights that came off so that took a week. Bottom line 3 weeks and trans not working yet and has a leak.
