Is it wise to stack a Crazy Larry/Smarty w/ the mp8, on a stock tranny/turbo/TQ converter?? My EGT's get up to around 1250 on wide open just w/ the mp8 @ 100%

Also is the CL or Smarty Stack W/ mp8 practical w/ major towing apps.??

How about stock fuel pump? Can the stock pump keep up W/ those mods?

Thanks

Crazy Larry stacked with an MP8 will get hot on a stock turbo....just watch temps. Same goes for Smarty/MP8 stack.

You WILL need a better pusher pump.....Glacier or Airdog....or FASS.

Tranny WILL NOT hold it. Need ATLEAST a torque converter and valve body.

I was afraid of that. That's a heavy investment all @once, sux too since I just got a new factory replacement pump about 2 months ago. I guess i'll just sit back and let you guys have all the fun.

right now...nothing. Long story. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=134853

I was running Scary Larry and an XZT and loved it....but had some pressure rattle due to the different XZT program i was running (its not the out-of-the-box XZT program) At 35-40mph on dry streets, i could drift. Scary Larry lights my SPS62 extremely fast and HERE WE GO!!!!

Scary Larry/TST i haven't played with it much yet...we will see how that goes.

Scary Larry/EZ doesn't boost fool on the top end like the XZT does.

I drove with regular crazy larry over the weekend....wow never again!

I can turn the MP-8 on MAX BDDL on TOW power is real good still low boost.
I can run the BDDL EXTREM,and MP-8 low power real good still low boost.

Try a boost fooler...can't hurt. I have found that some pressure boxes (like my EZ) boost fool down low making power come on sooner...but don't boost fool on the top end allowing for more psi. Stack a boost fooler with your current stack...cooler EGT's and harder pull on the top end!!
