ok just got the boost fooler and there is no more boost than with out it i have the cl and with out the bf its 36-38psi and guess what it is with the bf 36-38 which is fine i guess egts are ok and feels pretty strong just thought it was suppose to add more boost that is all

 

What sort of gauges do you have?

Also, there is another similar post on here like this. Turn the truck to stock programming and see if the boost fooler works like it is supposed to. This will tell us if the fooler is working or not.

Bullydog has some strange programming from time to time but, only on certain trucks and software part #'s. I am not sure if it is done purposely or by mistake?

 

Maybe you need to adjust your actuator rod on the turbo? I saw 43-45 psi with my stock turbo with a boost fooler and crazy larry. SPS usually sets up their turbos to make 40 psi...maybe yours was a little off.

 

it could be off a little cause turned it out to make less boost for that stupid plastic intercooler and maybe when i set it again i didnt get it back to where they originally had it.

and QZILLA i have an old ver. of the cl its ver.1.55 if that helps any

 

Actually now that I pulled my head out of the sand and read your sig, I think the fooler is working fine.

The fooler is not going to gain you any boost with your setup. What it will do is keep it from setting a CEL or code and it appears to do this. Now at 36 psi you might not set a code anyhow but, once you tighten the wastegate up and start running in the high 30's and low 40psi range then it will definitely keep you from setting a light or code.

 

yes it will set a light at 36psi but with the fooler it wont do it anymore i did notice that and that is really what i bou7ght it for i was just wondering about the boost
