ok stock it will throw 34psi crazy larry it will throw 36-38psi i have boost fooler and i tried messing with the boost elbow on my turbo and nothing turn it out no change turn it in no change is there something stuck open like the wastegate or a boost leak maybe i know i throws more than that because when i first put the turbo and crazy larry on it hit 45psi need some advice thanks chad

 

nobody has or had a problem like this?

 

Is your air filter clean? Fuel filter? Do you know your fuel pressure?

yes,yes,and no but i do have a fass and hopefully it is pushing enough normally it blows a big puff of smoke and then clears but now it blows a big puff of smoke and then does not clear out and i dont know why its the same setup as before just that i did the diy cp3 mod

 

So this happened right after the cp3 mod...?

but it runs good just not as much boost as i thought would the cp3 mod still run good if it was messed up and not build as much boost im think im getting enough fuel cause it can and will smoke like a freight train

 

Maybe I should've thought of this first.... Do you have the notorious plastic intercooler ends that have been known to crack and leak???

 

yes yes i do im currently saving for a good one unless someone has a stocker for sale

 

Maybe you can do a pressure test by removing the air intake all the way to the turbo, fab up something to enclose the intake of the turbo (3.5" or whatever it is) hose and same sized pipe with endcap and a schrader valve so you can pump around 40psi of air pressure and see if it holds. If it doesn't you should be able to chase down the leak with some soapy water sprayed on the tubing, hoses, intercooler,etc.

 

im going to give that a try i was looking at some stuff like that on google and that seems like a pretty easy way to check thanks man

I have the stock plastic intercooler sitting in my garage. I'd give it to you but shipping is probably more than what the thing is worth...
