Safe to run TNT-R?

Ive been away from the site for a while, but I should have my flux 1.8's, helix 2 cam, arp studs, and F1 springs installed when I get back. Early on with the TNT there was some confusion on what al parts were needed to run the TNT-R and 4k rpms. With what I have on my sig, and what Im currently getting installed be safe and reliable with the TNT-R??

Also this is for a 305/555, and Im currently running 4.2, is the TNT-R (after further testing) any better than the 4.2?

Also what settings are you 555 guys running with your TNT-R software?

I NEED to keep my truck relatively reliable, so whats best with that in mind guys?

early '04 or '04.5? I have a early '06 it works very well with my mods. . . VERY well. Do a search, I believe '03 and early '04's had problems with that program. I know that the beta 4.2 works really well with my truck also.

From my experience you are better off running the Beta 4.2 tune. Runs much stronger than the TNT-R on my truck and without the dreaded poping many of us 03-04 owners have experienced with the TNT and TNT-R programs.
I dynoed the Beta 4.2 just recently and SW5 laid down 230 HP on my truck over injectors alone.
Marco is supposed to be working on a fix for the poping problem now.

Boss Hogg I would stick to what you have. I found the 4.3 to be a bit better as far as not being too much for daily driving, but have since found myself back on the 4.4 again. The 3 betas are great about ramping up the pressure quicker and that is what has kept me sticking by them, the TNT and revo really didn't have that low end response I needed.

I guess ya'll can call me a beta 4.x cheerleader, and I'll back it up lol!

Bosshog...

You have enough to run TNT-R. All trucks do run differently, so try 'em and see for yourself.

I've run all the betas one time or another (from the old ones to the newer sl's and etc) and I put on TNT/r and didn't look back.

What "glitches" and "popping" are people talking about?....... Seems like every truck is different.

The 03-04 trucks are having an issue (don't think its been resolved or has recently been fixed, I haven't heard anything) with popping (my truck did it in 3rd gear at wot). Its been said that its draining the rail, but that has been disagreed upon for quite awhile since the beta programs aren't THAT much weaker than the TNT and don't have any issues to compare.

just let your truck warm up good before roding on it and it should be ok.
also didnt see anything in your sig about a cp3 upgrade? the stock cp3 is going to have a hard time keeping up.
