I may be crazy, but I swear my truck runs better on level 3 on the Smarty than on level 5. This is if I leave all the other settings the same and only change the SW#. Has anybody else experienced this?

my truck somehow likes level 5 beta 4.3 tune the best for DD ?

smoothest overall daily driver tune ....funny how sometimes certain trucks & tunes work out that way.............

just enjoy the smarty #3 tune

 

Better how?

Better mileage? Better throttle response? More power?

I don't know about the total power 'cause mine will slip the tranny if I push it, but the throttle response seems quicker and more smoky on 5, if I remember correctly. I don't think I've changed it in about 100,000 miles. Been on there for about 150,000 now.

The best things about it, for me, are better mileage and quicker throttle response.

 

Better throttle response and more power. I haven't yet made a comparison of the mpg numbers. Smoke seems to be about the same.
