rookie question about pressure and egt's

How much will adding a little pressure help my egt's. Or does it at all? My smartys running pretty hot with this stocker turbo but id rather not get a new one right now. if i added a mp-8 is it gonna make any difference or am i gonna have to just go ahead and get the bigger turbo. what else can i do besides drugs to keep my egt's lower?

Pressure will help but, more than anything the boost fooling will help more.

Try downloading the aftermarket turbo program. The wastegate will not open. Some people say dont do it because your boost psi will be too high. I will usually spike at about 45psi then it will run around 35 to 40 when doing a WOT run.

I am sure Quads boost fooler is better. I think it limits you too 40psi. But it is free to try the different program

The boost fooling in the Quad Race allows my stock turbo to reach 44psi on PL1
