Rookie Injector Questions

I just about have my money saved up for a set of injectors. My question is, if I have a leaking injector now, do I need to buy nozzles or the whole injector? I have not decided between F1 or DDPs but I can't really have my truck down for a couple of weeks. To anyone that has replaced theirs, can you just pay the core charge up front and then be refunded when I send them my stock injectors?

Dude call JL machine in Wisconsin..He does ALOT of work for some pretty big injector companies. He sold me new injectors for my 2003, and he will machine the tips to what ever size you want for free I did the 75HP tips. Cost me like 2 grand for new injectors shipped to my house. 2318532626 His name is Jon Link. He edm's the tips himself. His customer service is Amazing. I called him thinking I had a problem with an injector, and the first words out of his mouth were I will cut you a new set and send them out frist thing. NOW THATS customer service.

I have been keeping him under wraps because I know ALOT of the sponsers here and in the cumminsforum use him, but I am a college student and I know how hard it is to pay for things sometimes.

Try Don over at F1. I'm pretty sure they can repair them and then just put on the tips at the same time.

don @ F1 will have them back in 3 days or so. overnight shipping isnt cheap but he will have them back very fast I was in the same boat as you only had a week for it to be down and he got them back like they promised. F1 or DDP would be my only choices I would trust any other product personally. don is located in TX or was at the time so the turn around would be fast unless he is very swamped maybe longer with the holidays

Thanks for the help. I am still curious if I can just buy new nozzles from DDP and be done. When you have a leaking injector, is it usually just the nozzle bad or is it the whole injector that is bad. Or is it just guessing game unless I send them in to be tested?

feel free to send them in to ddp to have them tested/repaired/swaped

the main reasons for it being bad would be from cracking ( if ones cracked 90% of the time both nozel and body will be cracked) or excessive return flow.
