OK well if they come with a flat bed Im done. But for 99% of thieves Im protected. If they have an operation that has the equipment and is organized enough to haul my fat girl on a flat bed they can be my guest. And whos the dummy here???? Im just doing everything I can to keep your average car thief from stealing my rig. Of course if someone has the resources and want it bad enough anything can be stolen, but again whats wrong with spending some money to protect your investment from most everyone?

Did you purchase the Ride Rites from Lary here on DTR? I'm gonna need some and would prefer to spend my $$$$ here.

I do the same thing, spends all kinds of money on protecting my stuff as much as possible. Alarms, locks, disablers, etc......I just know that nothing is safe no matter what you do to it. All you can do is keep honest people honest and try to slow done those that aren't(so you can get a better shot) Sorry if I came across as harsh(the dummy emoticon) it wasn't my intention.

I know if you live near the border these days with a nice truck you are at a huge risk. I did have a local well known alarm shop talk to me about putting an alarm with 2 tilt sensors, and a self contained non vehicle powered alarm. Once it went off it had like 10 hours of battery power was in a very tuff housing to remove and could only be turned off with a key. They had a defective one as soon as they armed it and they said they beat it with hammers and everything they had and it wouldnt shut up, and it is insanely loud. Im not sold but it sounded like a valid option, but I dont really have to worry about to much up here in VA. As far as my ride rites, if Larry sells them Im sure they are at a good price. I forgot to ask here, I went with suspension connection.

No train horns, but man they would be easy to do at this point. The warden has got me on truck toy lock down, and I have to play along for at least a while. I guess its alright cause she let me buy a pretty nice new toy last week.

Hey Ryan,
What's up? I am glad that you are happy with the relocation of the Firestone Ride Rite gauges and controllers but I am not at all happy with the trailer brake finish
. I will get that up to my standards and complete the refinishing to your knee bolster when I come to do the rewire of your wiring harnesses under your dashboard. Did you ever order the correct paint from David Murphy at www.dieselmanor.com? If not, please do so and contact me at your earliest convenience at (732) 309-2761 so we may establish an appointment. I ordered the necessary supplies to complete the job and have them on hand. The rewire is going to be an all day project and I would like to perform the task on a good day and start early in the morning.
By the way, I see you got the 2008 Jeep Rubicon Ulimited and it looks awesome and makes me miss my 1997 Jeep Wrangler but with a beautiful wife and five beautiful daughters anything smaller than my wife's lifted 2002 Ford Excusion 7.3L PSD or my 1998 Dodge CTD 3500 DRW and somebody would be walking. I am thinking about getting a Dodge Sprinter or Mercedes Benz bus!
While I am down there I can also install a Ravelco in your 2008 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited for you as well. Man does that thing articulate in stock form. Are you going to lift it and add a four link suspension on the rear?
I look forward to speaking with you!
Thanks,
Chuck

I see nothing available anywhere that stops a flatbed tow truck from dragging your theft proof truck on to a greased bed in less then a couple of minutes. Trust me I know it all to well.
