I think I am at #3 on TQ Management right now. I still had the Puck in there last night, and rail pressure was a little scary (on #2) as it jumped 3kpsi at idle and went right to 20k off idle. Taking the puck off shortly.

I'm a little confused now. Does the aftermarket injectors timing now have more increased timing than the stock injectors programming?

I understood previously that on the aft. inj. programs the timing was reduced from the stock inj. programming. Which setting offers the most timing increase?

From the website:

Injection Timing

# 0 - Default ( depending on CaTCHER level )
# 1 - Stock
# 2 - Mild ( for stock injectors )
# 3 - Advanced ( for aftermarket Injectors )
# 4 - Moderate ( Less timing advance than level 3 )

Correct me if I'm wrong.

#1 no timing increase over the stock programming - pure stock
#2 Highest timing increase - Mild?
#3 Less timing than #2 for aftermarket injectors - Advanced?
#4 Less timing than #3

Loaded the TNT Revolution program yesterday and there seems to be a problem. Low power, low rail pressure and white smoke. I changed the pressure setting back to stock and reinstalled my X2 race and fuel pressure is right where it should be (26,000psi) and no white smoke. I don't know if the software got corrupted somehow or there is a problem with my ecm accepting the new software but everything else works well, just a problem with pressure. I have tried level 3 with moderate pressure and still get same results so draining the rail doesn't seem to be the issue. Thanks for any help, Tom J.

Right On!

Loving it so far Marco. I have some turbo issues to be addressed, but even with my low boost issue, the responsiveness is amazing. The new settings for timings seem to alleviate some of the abruptness from previous version BETAs

And it's all customizeable... even better!

1) The "Standard" tune which is exactly like the X.11y softwares but of course with the ability to customize it. With just one software loaded into Smarty you can cover all the 16 different downloads we have available on our web site today. Torque management from stock to Wild, Wastegate on or Off ( with off that would be the "aftermarket turbo" download ), and the timing ( from stock injectors to aftermarket plus another new level with higher timing),
completly new instead the ability to adjust the rail pressure.

Marco
Cool! That's the answer I was looking for.

Can't wait for the S-04 version!!!

Justice4all,
you're right we have some confusion here. The original plan was to start the beta testing with the Standard tunes and then the TNT's. Thus what's on our website right now is referred to the Standard Revo. Instead things went the other way arround and we're already testing the TNT's..

The TNT's timing is different from the Standard timing:
1 = Stock timing
2 = Original injectors timing
3 = Aftermarket injectors timing
4 = SHOULD be a higher timing than #2 instead it's the same as # 2

Now that I think about it... The #4 timing for the TNT's had to be finished but then you guys took me by storm...

OPS! Correction needed! Tomorrow...

Tom,

no doubt that I will check the software for the 06's. BUT my daily driver is and 06 AT like yours and runs just great with the TNT/R...
Scratching my head here...

this may have been asked already, if so sorry I've tried to follow the threads...

Marco, if you use a level with added timing and also add the injection timing, how advance is that ? Keeping in mind the stock ECM is retarded if I'm not mistaken.

Marco,
So is there a #4 Timing on the TNT(R)? And would this be the maximum amount of timing increase?
Also, I have noticed quite a bump in rail pressure on the TNT(R) over the beta 4.3. For emample idle RP increased from 5300 to 7900psi, cruising at 70mph raised from 13000 to 18000-19000psi (ON #1 MILD RP setting). Does this sound right?

I accidentally inputed a 4 instead of 3 for TQ management when I first started to load the software. When I realized that I was going to need the instructions I went back inside and printed a copy but I guess I didn't go back far enough in the programming to notice. I then went and drove around the block and noticed the low rail pressure and I thought maybe the CP3 just wasn't keeping up. I decided to lower the performance level and fuel pressure setting and noticed the torque management setting was not a valid entry. I corrected the setting to 3 reloaded and tried again. Still same thing. I was really worried that I had cracked an injector or my CP3 was failing, but pressure is good, power is good and white smoke is gone with X2 installed with no added pressure from the Smarty and level 7 programmed. I am thinking of reloading software to the Smarty and returning truck to stock then try loading the Revo software again with the correct values. What do you think? good idea? With my setup what would be a good set of of values to start with? ie power level (0-9) TQ (0-3) Pressure (0-3) and timing (0-3)
This would be with the X2 removed. Thanks, Tom J.
I know with just the DIY CP3 mod that my truck may not be able to keep pressure up with everything maxed out. It ran really well with 4.11 wild on level 7 with aftermarket injectors and turbo download with the X2 stacked on level 2 (100hp) I couldn't keep pressure above 26,000psi all the time but power was awesome and I was beating newer Corvettes and Cadillacs with the new Corvette engine in them. From a stop with boosted launch I blew them away and on the Highway I would drop back for a second to get good boost but edge them out above 100mph.

Anyways, Thanks as usual and probably more info than you need but I am sure we can get this worked out. The Smarty has never let me down and I am sure that there is an easy fix. Tom J.
