Results...w/twins, duals, new lift pump...

I still have not turned things all the way up yet...I have maybe 500-600 miles on the Evil Twins dual cp3 set up and the new Raptor 150...but...

SW-5 TNTR (4k, defualt timing, RP3, TMmild), 20% MP-8

Truck runs solid...63 psi boost 1300 degrees max...doing anything.

SW-7 TNTR (4k, defualt timing, RP3, TMmild), 20% MP-8

Getting exciting...65 psi boost 1350 degrees max...wow!

SW-7 TNTR (4k, defualt timing, RP3, TMmild), 20% MP-8, TST 2-0 no added timing on 05 Twins program

Holy moly I am a scared little puppy again! Truck feels like it is going to jump of the ground. Tires are screaming for mercy...frame is twisting and groaning...

Boost rockets up to 75 psi...temps to 1450ish...can't look at anythign else cause it is MOVING!

I will start running SW-9...then SW-9 with TST later this week. The TNT R sw is so nice..."normal" driving is easy and feels the same at light throttle...wheather I am on SW-3,5,7...etc. I am sure I will keep it on SW-9 and leave it.

I do have two small things to figure out in the mean time...before I resume tuning...and then get on the dyno.

I managed to make my raidator cap (I assume) puke all over the inside passenger side of the truck. It is not leaking durning normal driving...or even the runs under 65 psi...HELP!!!!!! What is this from...what do I do? I would say a pint or less maybe blasted the hood and shiny MPI twins...

I also thing I managed to get my 5" exhaust to clank into the frame or the tranny crossmember. The were some groans/bangs upon full load...

I could not feel them through the acceleration...I mean...not hesitation or loss of power...delivery was SMOOTH and CONSISTANT...but more through my feet or ****. I don't think it was tranny...transfer case or engine.

Thoughts?

Being in the high 7's is like doing it all over again from the 6's. Can't wait to be in the 8'! Scary!

Congrats on the results!! I had the same coolant puke you describe... it came from the overflow vent in the coolant reservoir. Simply too much expansion when flogging. The first time it happened scared the bejesus out of me. Thought for sure the engine blew... Keep the reservoir lower or figure out a way to vent the excess in a cleaner manner.
You still runnin' 3.3's? Or are you running bigger now?

3.3's are enough!

My overflow is 50% full...but the mess I think came from near the cap? So you think it puked out of the rubber line that connects right below the cap?

Time for a hose clamp!

Christian, there is a fair bit of pressure in the coolant system @ 3500rpm
If your cap is 16-18lbs you may be leaking there or possibly the rubber overflow tube?
Sounds like a good time, have fun and be smart.
I can only sit and watch for the next few months

if you have access to a coolant pressure tester, that would be the best way to check for leaks....sometimes the local parts stores will loan them out if you give them your CC....or if you are a tool guy you can buy one for around $75-$100 to just have around for thing like this..

sounds like a good time!!!!!

I have seen leakage from the overflow tube where it connects at the filler neck. So it is possible... enough flow in a short time to overload the relatively small tube... mine came out the reservoir though. I kept the level right at the "full" line when cold. After my incident though, I pulled right over and the coolant was only a couple inches short of the overflow port. I let it idle for a while and as it cooled, it sucked it all back into the radiator again... when it cooled off I was a good halfway below the "full" line.

3.3's and your set up should yield 750-775 on the local DynoJet, uncorrected.

Maybe more.

You have everything I would use to make the most I could with 3.3's.

I got excited myself just reading about this! My Evil Twin setup should be here any day and TNT/R should be making it's way to my in-box today as well...I can't wait!

Wonder why?

I must have consulted the authors of the "How to make a CR FAST"...

The injector, cam, and springs chapters were written by Don M / F1 Diesel

The twins chapter was written by Nathan Wright / MPI

The fuel supply and intake horn by Richard Martin / Glacier Diesel

The electronics chapter was written by Marco / Smarty.

The tranny chapter was written by Dave / Ul;timate Transmission

The suspension chapter was written by Don Thuren.

Install...fab work...and all the misc...by yours truely...oh maybe the good taste chapter too!

And finally...the tuning...heck...I write my own with a little help from TST and TS Performance to enable me to tweak things just right!

Yep! That cured my problem with the coolant running down the passenger side...
After youve been driving the truck for a bit and stop, if you pop the hood to can see it just seeping out a little bit under the hose...

Oh, and NICE combo, I want to see the numbers(and a dyno vid!)
