Results of Flux, Htb2, Hot Juice and Mp-8...

Ok ok ok...

Finally got some miles on the 04.5... since the recent install of Flux Mileage Beta Injectors, HTb2 (62/14 w/ a 65 wheel), and bumping the Juice to Hot.

This is a SWEET daily driver/tower. Mileage went back up (The truck was dropping into the 13's and is back up to 16 or so mpg...but this is the way I drive...lol), smoke is none existant, power is good good.

Very Quick Spool...feels the same as stock...but will "puff" a little more in the split second longer it takes to get some boost...than rocks up to 45 psi where the wastegate is set. Temps do not pass 1400 degrees hot rodding empty on kill.

No more white haze that plagued this truck on cold mornings...sounds even quieter...NO WOT black smoke either.

The truck is fast...500-525 hp from my "expert butt dyno". I will have it on the rollers soon with my big truck.

For a "stage 1" type build...it is one hot fun truck...and very driver friendly.

Thanks DON M! You da' man.

I will have hard dyno numbers after I get back from the holidays.

My best bet is I am netting close to 40-50 hp at WOT.

I like that, your professional butt dyno, anyway, is it the injectors that helped out with all of the things you listed like, the white smoke in the am and your mileage going up, and all that. If so, I would like to get some injectors like that. and How much hp are the injectors? Sorry for all the ?s I dont know much about injectors.

I have a wonderfully calibrated butt byno...trust me. I have had 3rd gens at stock power, 350 hp, 400 hp, 450 hp, 500 hp, 550 hp, 575 hp, and now my big truck is ???? (will be confirmed soon...but the recipe/tune is for over 800 hp).

Anyways....to the specifics.

They are a beta set of injectors from Don M (F1 Desiel) that are mileage injectors. Don't let the same fool you...they are just small...actually "smaller than stock" in terms of flow but will still make 20+ hp over stock injectors on OEM programing. The just atomize fuel better! So...smaller that stock flow...keeps that rail pressure up with a stock cp3 (excellent combo with todays HUGE duration coming out of many many fuel boxs and dowloaders) and helps in the mileage department. Less smoke...more power.

They really are a good idea for someone that wants to build a long term 400-550 hp daily driver (heck maybe more...I will need to stack some electronics on there...but this turbo is too small...so it stays where it stays) or needs to replace problematic OEM injectors.

I am very happy with this truck...

yah that sounds awesome, I want my truck to be around 500 or maybe a lil over that. I know i need a few more things, to do it right. like a fuel system and some trans work and a turbo. but I dont need a big one, probably about the size you have or something like that. but those injectors sound nice and hopefully they release them to the public.

He will...he will.

Flux 1's are also a nice solution...very similar...just a tad more HP.

I would have to say...same or less fuel sprayed...about the same amount of heat...or just slightley more.

They would work great with a 100 hp box on a stock trubo.

So are you just having fun with a 04.5 or did you sell your 04?

Just for arguments sake, I'm gonna say your butt dyno is about 40hp high. Hot juice and turbo should be about 440-450 and if the sticks are around 20-30, I think you'll come up a little shy of 500.

Sorry...floating on a boat for vacation.

On a 4.5 and newer...Hot Juice AND a Good Pressure Box most always gets darn near 500 hp...so add in the injectors...

Anyways...it does not matter...the 4.5 is NOT the big dog in my garage.

It will be on the rollers this weekend I hope...so we will all see.

Happy New Year!

I was hoping this post had some #s. Dang!
And now that I go back, I'm sure my post will be wrong because somehow I missed the mp8 in the mix. So I would agree 500-525. I did 505 w/ Hot Juice/mp8/A3k/lift pump. I also had cp3 work at that point but it probably wasn't needed for that number.
