which resonator should i get to queit my truck down. it now has a 4" silverline turbo back exhaust and still has a drone, especially while towing.
so is MBPR or aeroturbine better or is their another option?

 

What happen to the stock resonator? If you still have it, use it, does affect air flow. I kept mine, got rid of the drone.

 

I run the MBRP resonater with no muffler and it works pretty good by itself.It knocked the raspy edge off and quietened the exhaust down a couple levels.Probably would work great added to an exhaust that already has a muffler.

 

the previous owner of my truck installed a 5" turbo back drone making exhaust. it was so bad that it gave me a headache, so i had to replace it. unfortunately i do not have the stock pieces.
is it recommended to put a resonator right after the down pipe?

 

completeexhaust.com fixed me up! They recommended a 4" glasspack right after the DP - it worked good for me. About $75 (with clamps) to my door. Craig
