Does anyone have a connection that could get the ECM flash files for the 555 and 6x0 engines with standard transmissions ? The files are probably PC based. They are then uploaded to the scan tool for uploading into the ECM itself.

I'd like to have a look at them.

 

Does anyone know which processor is used in the Cummins ECM ? I know it is Motorola, but it could be 6811, 9S12, 680x0 or those new fangled signal processing processors. Any idea ? Anyone seen a Cummins adver claiming 32 bit processing or anthing like that ?

 

Get in touch with Marco on here , he seems to know a bit about the ECM , I dont know if he has gone into the CM848 , which is in your engine ,
