Does returning program to stock on the downloader completely remove form truck. I am planning to sell the downloader and want to make sure it will work on another vehicle. I did not see an uninstall option. Thanks.

once you dl of the truck, you can sell it and it will work on another truck. go to bullydog's site for exact instructions from the owners manual.

 

Yes it does i sold my 05 truck. Just put it back on stock you will be good to go.

 

If I remember I had to return to stock then go to the main screen and choose the download option, somewhere there it will ask you if you want to uninstall and you choose yes, or maybe it ask if you want to install and you choose no. Or something like that. You don't just set it to stock, you have to uninstall it.

 

I believe it is "Y" to install and "N" to un-install. I just did it today, took of the CL and went back to the standard download.

 

Stock in the selection modes does not remove the downloader.. This will cause havok trust me I know Been there done that... You have to go to the download section and when you hit installdownload it will ask you to return the truck to stock then hit Y. This will remove it. It will take about 20 seconds..

Just to let you know on the power pup downloaders all you have to do is select stock and it will take truck back to factory. They are different then the triple dogs. I talked to Bullydog on the phone today and that is what the tech. dept. told me. There is no uninstall option on the power pup. Thanks for all your help.
