Going on the advice of my trany builder with my problema on the shift hunting
I had her scheduled for a DOCTOR appointment ...........my thought the whole time was I hope they don't find out that she was taking DRUGS(Smarty)

Had the latest updates put in & the gave me a maintenance notice on vehicles with shifting fluctuations due to the overdrive & a reprogram to cure

Tried real hard to reproduce the hunting. still there but significantly reduced
The real test will be under load @low throttle

Did noticed the shifting pattern much different not as hard as before.....don't know if I like that
The tires don't lite as fast

After bringing her home SMARTY was first on the list
Noticed that the mechanic set my tire size @ a larger value & Smarty corrected him

Well I guess back to chopping my hunting tree one branch @ a time

 

someone correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Smarty overwrite the update he just got from the dealer with a completely different program therefore the update is useless unless he sets it to stock? and wouldn't the update already be included in the latest downloads for Smarty?

 

You are correct. And if he goes back to stock, it will be the DC program that Smarty has, not what his dealer flashed.
