Raptor Flow Circuit???
Raptor Flow Circuit???
Hi All
My FP (canister mounted) is showing signs of distress with the premium F.G. OEM filter and lower temps. I was seeing 6-7.5 and now I'm seeing 4.5 cold to 7 warm and any throttle at all is dropping the pressure 1-2psi.
I've pretty much homed in on the Raptor 100.
I was wondering if anyone has plumbed the raptor to draw through the OEM canister then delivering to a GDP 2-MK filter prior to the CP-3?
My thinking is to make use of the heater and suction side water sep.
Am I all wet?

What year is your truck, 04.5 & older? From what Glacier told me is that on 03/04.5 need the stock fuel cannister without the fuel pump. My truck was updated with intank pump. So I brought a used cannister from Richard. Then hooked up the supplied dorman fitting to the cannister to the 1/2 line right to the raptor 100, then to stock fuel filter. After that went to a 2mic filter, then off to the CP3. Not sure about the flow, but have 15lbs of fuel pressure @ the pump inlet. You can adjust the pressure as needed. If you go with the 150 pump, think you need a 1/2 draw straw or the mod cannsiter with 1/2 hose in the tank.
Truck is an 03/04 2004 not a 04.5. The OEM pump is mounted to the filter housing. The flow I was referring to was the flow path. I want the fuel to visit the OEM canister & heater then the pump then a secondary 2u filter on its way to the CP-3. Not volume as in GPM.
It looks like I connect the tank suction to the port of the OEM pump outlet.
Connect the Raptor suction to the bottom of the canister then the outlet to the 2u filter and on to the CP-3
Not looking forward to writing the check though.

Ok got you know. I ran the supply from the Raptor to the stock fuel filter housing, they supply a bracket with an oring. Then I ran a line out of the bottom of the stock filter housing to my 2mic filter, then to the inlet of the CP3. I had to to get couple more fittings, there is lots of places that sell them, it wasnt too bad in price.
