Rail Pressure Sensor too HIGH -- Stock CP3

I got an engine light/error code and it stated my rail pressure sensor was too high.

I was toying around with my smarty (#8) and TST (5/2; rail pressure 2; timing 6).

Is this possible? I was about to purchase a dual cp3 kit so I could get more fuel to match my bigger twin turbo set up. But if my fuel is all ready too high wouldn't dual cp3's cause a greater problem?

Of course, I suppose rail pressure and fuel delivery could be a different matter all together. Is this the case?

EGT's shot right up to 1500* when I did this (very brief amount of time, of course).

Could this be I am not getting enough fuel and my pressure and egt's are erratic?

Unfortunately I did not write it down.

Smarty said it was rail pressure sensor too high.

Most likely it is p0336, I get it when my tank get's around 1/4 empty or on "hilly" areas when driving. The fuel system gets air in it and sets the code. It could also be the rail valve going bad, or you had a spike in the rail pressure and that set the code.

I have almost the same mods you do only with a 6spd no water and I have ZERO complaints with my ATS kit. Smarty on 9 and TST cranked, my rail pressure stays right with what the ECM is demanding. Before the kit my truck would miss at WOT and the smoke would clear up then come back when the stock pump would catch up. The pressure would drop to 7k with a demanded pressure of 25k or so.

TST seems to set them all the time, my buddy gets that code all the time. He starts to panic when he starts setting codes. I am new to the the tst and don't know what to tell him or what levels to run. He likes to run it on level 6/6 with a completly stock truck with no gauges.
