That's exactly what mine was doing. It would read normal for a little while and then fall off. On a long haul on the highway it was down to zero. Obviously my pressure wasn't zero or the truck wouldn't be running. I hooked up my Diablosport and wernt into the live data menu and drove around watching the pressure with it, and it was normal.

I don't have the info with me right now, but I'll get you the names and numbers of who you need to contact so you can return the faulty one for credit - hopefully I'll remember tonight after work. (code for - I'm playing on the internet right now at work) I don't have my replacement installed yet, but hopefully it isn't the same way.

No I have one coming free of charge (warranty) through a distributor in Canada........
Good to know that you have some readings to compare. As you said 0 pressure would cause the engine to stall, that is not happening to me.

I talked to John @ Floor it and he has had one case of this happening. Rail gauge read 3k DRB read 7k.

I should have one by weeks end.......

Either one would be great just due to the price point - we tried to source the parts needed from our vendors for a mechanical RP gauge and a couple of items were darn near impossible to procure!

I think an analog gauge - which means it might have to be just RP - would be best since it's easier to read at a glance while driving.

Before we even venture down this road you must realize that anything I do is going to be digital.

I am not a fan of analog. If you read a few posts here you might start to see why I am not a fan.

I've read every post here; do you think analog gauges are less reliable than digital, or is it the accuracy that concerns you?

I'm not a fan of digital readouts, probably because I was trained to scan the gauges with a sweeping glance when I was flying.

I think analog gauges can be fine. I just think most of them are not put together very well to keep the price down. There is no doubt that digital is considerably more accurate but, for something like rail pressure being accurate to 10psi is not that big of a deal.

I always hear about the analogs being so reliable but, almost everyday I read posts about analog gauges crapping out or not working or reading stupid.

Don't get me wrong all products are bound to have some issues as they are man made but.......

Also, don't fly a new plane as they are primarily digital and touch screens now!

True, until you alter it with a module then it is wrong.

I just went to yahoo and did a search for a conversion calculator and then started plugging in numbers in 2500psi increments and made a chart I could have a passenger reference while I was driving and watching the readings.

My mind is bent right now... I think you multiply by 135 to get psi...?

Ive been looking for a rp gauge, but just dont have $300 to spend on a gauge right now. I think one with both fuel pressure and rail pressure would be nice but ive already got a fuel pressure gauge, so maybe there would be a market for both, but im very interested in either one.

If you do anything to the rail pressure sensor like a pressure module or anything that would alter the rail pressure then the OBD2 data bus will not be correct.
Sort of like when you hook a boost fooler up and then try to read the boost on a scan tool or Outlook monitor.

Not to mention OBD2 data is S L O W. It is cool and convenient but, it is not meant to be used as a "gauge" it is meant to be used more for reference and troubleshooting.

MPa x 145=PSI
My truck tops out at about 162 MPa which is about 23500 PSI.
Quad I would most certainly be interested in a more economical RP gauge, but I don't need an inlet fuel pressure.
