I'm getting ready to install a new radio in my 04 2500, but do not remember how to pull dash apart. I thought the dash pieces just pulled off, but I'm woried about breaking something. Anyone have any tips about removing dash pieces or installing radio? Thanks, Jim.

 

To remove the radio trim plate you must remove the screw located behind the bag holder. The holder is located on the passenger side. At that point remove the trim plate by pulling back on it. It is held to the dash by friction fit push pins. There are 4 screws in the factory radio and the wiring harness as well as the antenna wire unplug from the main harness.
