i was out run by my brothers toyota tundra. my check engine lt came on and showed a code of p0069. what do i need to do to fix that code? what elese do i need to do to my truck?

Probable Cause:
Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor, mechanical fault

Check the MAP sensor connections on your Juice and make sure they are connected completely/correctly would be the first thing I would do.

 

As far as what to do to beat him, turbo, fuel system, clutch/tc/trans upgrade, studs, nitrous, etc. Or maybe try HOT Juice or Smarty along with appropriate supporting mods.

 

Is his a quad cab or regular cab?

Is yours a stick or auto?

Is yours a 305/555 or a 325/600?

Those Tundras are running mid to low 14s. If you're an auto and 325/600, you're going to need the Hot upgrade, pressure box, and TC and VB. That should get you into the high 13s - 14.0s
