I,got my race box today,I was suprised when I opened it and found this 2x2 plastic box.I thought to myself I paid what for this.I sure hope it workes better than it looks.I am afraid of breaking the little thing hooking it up.How do you mount it under the dash and still see led's?.I guess also I only get 130 HP instead of 140 advertised for the 05.

 

The 04.5-06 trucks have always been 130hp. Don't worry about the power or about breaking it.

Most people jsut check the led before they install it or if they ever have an issue. Other than that just zip tie it under the column.

Think of the module like cell phones, the get smaller with lots of features. As technology grows the parts get smaller.

yeah, plug it in and then start thinking about shopppin for tires. the LED's novelty wear off quickly, if you look at it for a week I'll be surprised. You will not tire as quickly from the power.

I know what that is, that's when you have so much power you break things from the power...... Yeah exactly, you pay for the technology and this and that. you know how they know a motor only will accept 6 degree's timing, cause one when booom testing. So yeah you pay for the product design.

I thought the same thing when I got my Quad XZillaraider Race box. The box worked fine and I never had any problems with it. It dyno'd 125rwhp over stock. I mounted mine on the dash on the left side of the steering wheel, ran the wiring through the firewall and was just long enough to reach.
