im new to the 3rd gen trucks, I used to run a 99 dodge diesel. I just got a 64 mm turbo and the tripple dog power pup downloader(with crazy larry).i havent put either on the truck yet. i just want to know what kind of rail pressure im supposed to have at idle or driving. im pretty sure i have a stock lift pump. i have heard of people talking about the rail running dry, and i just want to make sure when I add this other programmer if im gonna run into problems.

 

You should see 5k @ idel and 25-27k at WOT. Crazy Larry doesnt add a whole lot of presure, so you are fine. CL by itself doesnt fuel enough to drain the rail anyways. What trans do you have? Neither will be able to handle CL without mods, so I would start saving for those and a fuel system, with your turbo.

 

it a bd tranny and torque converter, i had a question i posted on a diff thing casue i have a popping noise out of my exuast when i get in the throttle hard and people say its my rail running dry.

 

i Know i didnt have 20-25 on my stock. at best 12, my advice is to invest in a rail gauge and monitor everything before you go crazy.
