Question on gauges...
Right now and for the near future my truck is stock in the engine tranny area. If I were to add three gauges for general monitoring and possible future mild upgrades what would be the third gauge recomended?
1st would be a pyrometer
2nd would be transmission temperature
3rd- boost ?
or
3rd- fuel pressure ?
Or is there a way to get all four in a 3 gauge pillar mount?
Thanks for the suggestions in advance

My truck is in the same situation as yours (stock engine and tranny). I went with the boost gauge with my three gauge set up in the dash pod. Looks awsome in that location and the boost is fun to watch!!
Westach makes a dual EGT/Boost guage. With this you could actually get 4 guages in a 3 guage pillar mount. Be prepared though, it looks great but it sure makes one heck of a blind spot....
I bought the dppi pod and it is great.. I just put it in the other day and it looks good.. no blind spot and it matches very well. The only down side is loosing the handle. I never realized how much I used it..

The Pyron and trans are automatic, if you are not going to mod the truck heavily, then a boost gauge 0-60psi would be a good choice, but the information from fuel pressure might prove to be more significant as you start making mods. Its really personal preference. There are some electronic gauges available that have multi-functions so you could get all four gauges in a 2 or 3 gauge mount if you wanted to go that way.
Hondo,
The A pillar that we have that Blygy mentioned is a great product, color molded and has the gauges set real deep in the pod to eliminate the blind spots the other pods have. BUTTTT if you need 4 gauges I would suggest our over the windshield rearview mirror mount, it fits up against the headliner and we have them in 2,3 or 4 gauge designs. That way you get all 4 gauges, they are in a really out of the way place that is easily seen while driving at just a glance. Check them out and give us a call at the office if you have any questions etc.

I second what Mark said. I ordered the three gauge windshield pod with Di-Pricol pyro, boost and fuel pressure. The package just got here this afternoon. After the paint dried on the pod, I slid the gauges in and put the pod in place just to get an idea of how it will look and to let the wife see to make her feel a little better about it. It looked great. It follows the contour of the black shading that's on the windshield. Looks like it was there from the factory. Since I don't have the auto tranny, I didn't get the trans temp gauge, but if I did and knowing what I know now, I would definitely get the four gauge windshield pod. I used the Mopar Natural Beige paint. It dried incredibly fast. Then again for $9 for just a wee little can, it darn well better.
And Mark, a big thanks to you guys at DPPI for helping me out.

I ordered the DPPI (Gauge Works) 3 gauge pod last week. I plan on getting the 2 gauge windshield pod too. I'm going to put pre EGT, Boost, and Fuel in the A- pillar. Then put post EGT and Tranny in the windshield pod.
