Question for Don M..

I just sent you out some injectors.. Ollie from Power by Poole is setting it all up..

My question is, Are the Flux 1's perfect for what i wanna do or should i just go with the Flux 2's??

I really dont wanna lose any driveabilty and i dont want it to me pooring out smoke like crazy, i'm running your cam and springs and a few other mods as you can tell my my sig..

I'm still using the stock CP3 but we did do a DIY mod for now and i will be ordering a Floor It stage 2 here soon..

Flux 1's or 2's????

All thoughts welcome guys..

Either...really.

2's will push the limit of your turbo. I would go 2's...but 1's will still yield a 100 hp with your electronics cranked all the way up.

How much do you want...that is the question!

I'd be happy with 450hp, i'm not doing this to hit a goal really, i'm just doing it cause i have a bad habit it modding EVERYTHING i get my hands on..

When you say pussing the limits of the turbo, what do you mean??

I dont wanna kill it quickly or anything, i got that turbo cause i wanted somthing streetable and i didnt want alot of lag..

Your there right now!

Smarty with a big tune...a 62/14 (is it a 71 or 65?) and Flux 1's might hit 600 hp now! 550 with a 65...600 with a 71.

Heck any Flux injector will do that!

My 3.3's do just that too! Almost 40k on those puppies and ZERO complaints.

With the smarty TNT tune (which you are certainly modded enough to handle) you are pushing the limits of your turbo with stock injectors. Unless you plan on going larger on the turbo, I would stick with the smaller sticks... your stage 2 cp3 though will be overkill for the smaller injectors-- just right for larger ones.

I'd say go smaller stix then tune up with electronics.

If you really do hate smoke, I'd say stick with the Flux 1's. That cam should help slightly with throttle response and spool-up, which should help reduce smoke as well.

I have the Flux 2's, and with my setup, if I lug it, I can smoke out an intersection. With regular driving, though, the smoke is minimal, just a slight haze.
