Question about the way my tranny shifted at the track... (vid of tach)

Mornin, DTR...

I've been watching this vid, and wondered why my 1-2 shift, and 3-4 shifted at ~3500 rpm's, but my 2-3 shift was around 3200-ish...

I have a lock up controler, but that should have locked when I hit about 20 mph, so I don't think that's it...

Thanks...

mad

What's so funny? Don't you think that if the shift points were adjusted, that I could gain a tenth?

Just seemed weird when not everything was the same...

Maybe it has something to do with the tire size not being set properly. I dunno tho.

Does Tow/Haul mode extend the RPMs that it will shift at? Have you tried that?

Tow/Haul is a good idea...

Do you have an exhaust brake?

I know when mine is on, it changes the way the truck shifts...

No EB/

I believe that it shifts there due to the way that the VB is set up. Guess I gotta call ATS and ask them...

I would bet it is something in the VB too.
