QuadZillaraider Race Box

Just installed my QuadZillaraider race box and two thumbs up. Presently I have a 35 psi AutoMeter mechanical boost guage and I noticed on L3 (highest setting) on a short WOT from 70 mph the boost was pushing 32 psi and still creeping up a bit. Anybody have experience with max boost on a 305/555 setup as my autosignature. Will I need a higher upper limit boost gauge? I don't intend to replace the stock huffer unless I blow it up. Next mod will be an aftermarket 4" exhaust.

I tow a fairly heavy boat and will be looking into a 5th wheel in the future. I don't plan to use the L3 while towing; most likely L1 or possibly L2.

Still can't get over 24 PSI. 27 is the record with the wastegate hose clamped. I'm wondering if that's as good as it gets at above 6000 feet. Can't figure out how an electric box changes boost on a mechanical wastegate either...

Enjoy your box!

MY SO pushes 30psi max with my boost elbow. Without it I saw a max of about 25-26 psi. I think HOs normally push a few more psi than the SOs..

With the standard box I could only get 24psi in any setting - 305/555 HO. With the race it's the same on 60/100 but on 140 I've hit 28-29psi.

FYI for those interested in gauges, do not get a 35psi boost gauge! Once you start getting hooked on the power, you will easily exceed that gauge's capacity.

When I ordered mine I got the 60psi gauge cause I remember people posting pressures in the 32 to 35 range for my year model of truck.
