I am putting in my recon right now, it says to tap into fuse 28 for power. Anyone know if that is keyed, battery, or some sort of other power source? I got the cig lighter wire that I was just thinking of powering into. Its on a 2007 5.9L ctd. Let me know.

 

It just wants a keyed power source. As long as it is 12v then you are good to go. For that matter you can hook to any 12v power but, if it is constant power your gauge will stay on all the time!

 

I hooked it to the cig. lighter, so it stays on until you open the door.

The tranny sure does run cool when your not towing. It only got up to 156 degrees when I was testing out the boost gauge!
