Quadzilla Recon fuel pressure gauge queation

I just installed a quadzilla fuel and rail pressure gauge, and it works great but I have one question. Is it normal for fuel pressure reading to start at 19 psi and and go down gradually to 0 psi when the ignition is on without being started? The reasion i'm asking is because the gauge is always reading 0 psi for the low pressure recal.
Thanks Ed

its normal for fuel pres to go up when you turn the key on as the pump is running,it stops after like 20 seconds then the pres will drop to 0,when you start it of course it should go to what you seen before,if your seeing 19 when running i would check to see what sendor you have,i installed my fuel pres kit for the camander and i seen 19-20 psi then when i updated the camander i only seen 9-10psi,after a few calls and posting here i found out that the 20psi reading was wrong.i have the 40 psi sender, its brass or gold colored, your reading may be wrong.

I'm pretty sure the reading is right because i have the walbro pump and am seeing 19 to 20 psi and when i switch to my stock pump I see 9 psi at idle. If the reading goes down to zero every time i don't start it right away how do i get an accurate low pressure reading when i do a recal?
Thanks for the help Ed

The memory clears after every shut down. To get the low pressure recall, before you shut it down, press and hold the select button(the circle) and the down arrow. This will show the lowest it got but, once the engine is off the gauge will clear its memory! Hope that helps.

Thats how i check it but it always recals 0 psi due to the pressure going down to 0 before i even start the truck. When under a load the lowest it goes to is 14 psi. Whats causes the pressure to go down to 0 before startup? Shouldn't the system stay pressurized at 19 psi and not bleed down to 0 before starting up?
Thanks Ed
