Quadzilla engine missing?

when on level 4 (130 hp) on the quadzilla race box there seems to be a engine hick-up or maybe a fueling problem just happens on the high settings. Just wanting to know if anyone else has had this problem or any other problem out of the q-race box thanks!

well, i have the 65-hp towing box from quad and it still does this after i sent it back to them 80( it makes really nice power , idles nicely , but when under load , going up a hill at about 2200rpm in tow/haul mode and at big time WOT for instance when going on to the freeway it surges like crazy .. quad said they didnt find a problem with it but did do a re-flash of the box . but still no luck .. but like i said it still makes really nice power but with a surge...

I have a miss also when I turn my TST box all the way up under wide open throttle conditions.
I am going next week probably to see if I have a bad harness?
Maybe a reflash will help.

I feel your pain!

I would also suggest that it's a lack of fuel causing this. My TST does this too when I turn it up too high but I was told in advance that it would happen. You may benefit from one of the aftermarket lift pumps like a FASS or Walbro system.....

do you think that this chip is dumping enough fuel to cause the pump to not "keep up"

It's possible on the high setting. If it's happening on the lower settings then you have some other issue... I never had a problem until I started stacking boxes but my stock LP would drop to 0 psi on a hard pull.....

I'd say it's definately a possibility, especially when floored while on the 140 h.p. setting. I would add a fuel pressure gauge to see whats going on when it starts to surge.

Van Aaken C3.2 Duration box... Very nice power, lots of black smoke, and with the stock turbo my temps stayed well in check. Once I got the HTB2 turbo my temps shot up to 1500+ degrees on a hard pull. I thought it would be the opposite but I guess the extra air allowed for a lot more fuel. Bottom end was more powerful than my current stack but the top end wasn't as good as I have now. If not for the high temps, I would still run that stack....
