I pray that your son will have a long and healthy life. My wife will be induced on Friday and we will be having our second baby boy. There is nothing like the miracle of life and your son is truly one of those miracles.

Just another quick update. Baby is going well. He has been very stable and seems to improve little by little. They are actually starting to feed him milk today which is a big step for him and his health. There are a lot of things this can help with and prevent with no known side effects. He is still on the ventilator but, they have been steadily turning it down and he responds which is good. His lung X-rays look really good for a baby his size and age so that is great news.

Still on a day to day basis and he is getting ready to take some big steps so I hope he stays strong. Of course they will not push him too much but, if he keeps responding they will continue to remove support items. He is almost off all his meds which is fantastic!

I will keep you guys updated! Once again thanks for the support and prayers. We definately still need them as I know they are working!

Oh, and Mom must have good genetics or something. She is great, no pain meds in days and she has been to work yesterday and today! Of course I think she likes being here because she is closer to him than she would be at home!

WOW, That is terrific news. I hope that the 'little guy' continues to progress at this pace and before you know it he will be on his way home. That would really be good news. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Glad to hear everything is going well. Our newborn(7 weeks) is doing very well and I feel blessed especially after hearing your story. My wife is an RN(with heart trouble in the family) so she is very interested in your progress.

Tell your son we are behind him and his family.

That's awesome news. My wife was pregnant and started feeling strange. We went to the doctor who could find no heartbeat or any signs of life. He told us she had probably miscarried. She went home and prayed and a couple weeks later when she went back to the doctor they told her she was indeed still pregnant. Now, I'm not a real spiritual person, but it really makes you think....
All my best to you and your family, including QuadJr.....

It's amazing how much your faith will grow through trials like this. As I like to say, God makes lemonaide out of lemons in our life!

Guys I didn't want to say anything here because I didn't think it was my place to do so, but It looks like I better come out with it.

Quad and his lovely wife lost the baby and I feel awful reporting the bad news here to everyone. They tried so very hard but it just wasn't in God's plan at this time.

All of us here at DTR offer our deepest condolences and prayers in this trying time for the entire family.

I deal with death and tragedy every day.... But that doesn't make it any easier. I can't imagine losing my little girl. My thoughts are with you and your family.

God has a plan for all of us, even though it is VERY hard to understand a lot of times where he is headed with things. I have been through it as well and I sympathize deeply. Hope your faith is strong, and time will help heal. God bless.
