Quad Xzillaraider 2 question

I've had the original Xzillaraider for a few years now and so far so good. The X2 is on the way(hopefully monday). My question is if i were to download the smoke or any other programs, does it just make the #1 a smoke, or does it add the duration to all the settings?

I'll try to answer your question.
There is a tune that is just a smoke tune and all levels are smoke tunes 25 hp through 100 hp. you can get a tune that is called MPG CITY SMOKE. This makes PL01 the max mileage city tune which is just timing, and the other levels the SMOKE tune. I believe all levels of the smoke tune add duration.

Thanks guys, thats kind of what i figured. It'd be nice to have PL1 a smoke and the rest the regular tunes. Maybe Quad can work something out. Yes I am AFD. You?

I was wondering how the box controls duration when all it is connected to is the fuel rail pressure transducer and the boost transducer. The old Quad Xzillaraider was connected to the ecm module, the fuel xducer and boost xducer, so I can understand how it got timing signals for the injectors. But since the Xzillaraider II doesn't connect to anything with timing???

Like the original Xzillaraider module, the Xzillaraider II uses a combination of alternating fuel pressure, boost, duration and timing signals to make its power.
From quads website. I Don't know how either. My harness for my X2 does have a plug to connect to the data link but i was told that it was not needed so i left it alone.

The new X2 harness doesn't have anything to connect to the data link. I am starting to wonder if it is just a pressure box.

The Rail Press sensor and Map sensor are just that sensors probably output 0-5v depending on the pressure, rail or manifold. Not sure how they would get injector timing signals from those.
