new harness is for coolant temp and no need to tap wire for cammander its already T tap for you

 

You do NOT need the wiring harness to do the USB updates on the X2 box.

I only offered the harness as a nice gesture since we are trading in everything else. It is not needed and they will work just fine without them.

Since we did a whole new box we added some features, that is all. The only thing you gain is that it gives you plug and play ports for the Commander and it has a plug and play connection at the coolant sensor for reading coolant on the control pod.

 

Do you still tap the APPS unit (TPS) for this new box?

 

No tapping needed.

 

Good, because that is a pain in the rear to take off before you have to go to the dealer.
