yall guys get another injection event. Where we get 2 bursts of fuel, yall get 3. a lot more power available like that.

Us 03-04 guys cant get a break! Now we have to buy injectors??
Oh, I agree. I'm wanting a complete DTT tranny, but until I feel mine acting up I just cant justify it.
With Morkable in the 600hp range, and basically the same mods+50hp injectors, I'm pretty sure injectors will get us there.

I found with the SMARTY adding the EZ helps with the high end. But on the same note the throttle sensitivity was way too much for me, so I removed the EZ. I just couldn't drive the truck smoothly.
The EZ or a MP-8 is a great addition for the dyno or track run though.

I am not rubbing it in, just posting data. With my smarty on #8 wild, first run was 447, 940ftlbs, the last run was same smarty setting and quad race on 140, only went up to 505/1021. 58 hp difference on a 140hp setting? has to be injectors and pump limitations.

i would be happy with those numbers TCR

So do you guys think that the diablo stack/Quad is a better stack than the Smarty/Quad??

Im not sure what to get, I want mass hp! I guess you could go Smarty/Quad with a set of 50hp-70hp injectors like stated above to get more hp out of the stack, but Im trying to avoid a modded CP3

I didn't think the 3rd injection event (on 600-610 engines) added any power. I thought it was just to burn off unburnt fuel for emission purposes.

but when you advance the timing slightly(roktech or tone ring mod) some of the fuel intended to keep the kitty hot, actually gets used in the production of power.

that is one of the factors that let you guys get the 170hp smarty when us 03-04 boys get the 130 version...

dont forget happy, that we are soon to be getting a 250hp hot version. sorry to rub it in.
04.5+ get easier power, 03-04 get better economy. kind of a trade off.

Kewl! I'll take it! I wonder how long my tranny can take it though!
