rail pressure stock should actually be more like 24K or so on a 600. I have seen slightly higher but most are right at about 24K at full load.

The race module will go to about 26.5K if the load and RPM's are there. Nothing to be worried about in my opinion especially since you have to be mauling the truck to get it there.

Rail pressure is similar to stock under normal driving conditions although we do remap it across the board but, the changes are small. You have to run pretty hard to go over about 22K.

All our boxes do boost fooling in every setting so there is no need.

Also we get this question a lot so we are working on a FAQ page on our website to help you guys out and we will probably list this exact question on our Boost Fooler page!

Woah!!! I DID NOT know that the quad race box pushed the EGT's that high! Will a slightly bigger turbo that can push a slighly higher volume of cool air get those EGT's under control? Or will it take a lot more?

Mike who's just days away from dropping the cash for the commander and quad (Race or Reguar not sure yet).

EDIT- Will the EGT's be a little lower on the 555 motors?????

NOPE! I can peg a 1600* pyro when I hold the key forward, 130mph or so. Setting at 140hp. Poor turbo....

On the 03-04 trucks you really have to be beating on the truck to get much more than about 1350 or so. They run much cooler than the 600's. The 600's will go 1400 pretty easy with a Race module.

Quad,
Can your boxes make the same hp. without causing the injectors to rattle so much. I ran your 100hp box for about 28000 miles and only had small amounts of this, I then upgraded to the 140 box and now it rattles even on just the 60 setting. The power is great it's just I hate having to turn the radio up to cover the noise .

Yup they can be tamed down. The Race modules are much more aggressive down low. They do everything sooner with less boost.

I placed the probe right above the turbo on the left side where #5 and #6 cylinders are. These two run hotter than all the rest and would be a great place to see the worst case senario. If you are running hot in cylinders 1-4 you are even hotter in #'s 5 and 6.
