Quad Fuel Pressure Sender

This cold weather brings one good thing. Every morning when driving to work I get to see what a fuel pressure looks like. For some strange reason when it's cold out (below 40*) the fuel pressure doesn't jump all around, it holds steady at 18psi. But then you know it has to happen, I go home after work and it's jumping all over the place again. Maybe I should sell my house and move north, LOL.

Just wanted to know, does anyone else see it holding steady when it's cold.

Hey, I'm just asking if anyone else noticed a difference when the temperature drops below 40*. I know it's taboo to talk about Quad fuel pressure senders on here, I just don't understand how or why the cold affects it that way, at least mine. Today the tem was about 44* on the ride in and it was jumping all over again. OK, I'll drop it.

Mine does seem to fluctuate a bit less when it's cold. But, it's still all over the place. I don't think talking about the crappy senders is taboo. The FP sender is crap and I think a lot of folks know it. I've never had anyone tell me I can't speak my mind here...

Is there a fix for this? Or should I buy a different gauge? I was looking at Autometer, DiPricol or Isspro mechaincal fuel pressure gauges. Sorry to hijack.

I called Quazilla about this. They're still working on a fix. They've told me a 2nd time that it will be another 8 weeks before they have something. It's up to you, but my impression is that they've got a ways to go. Similar to the turbo timer.

Thanks Tesla, I think I'll go with one of the others. I know Isspro has a RP gauge and FP.

I don't know what you mean unless you meant to say "you were stating your MIND" if that's the case I don't put a lot of weight on typo's, everybody does it.

But what I am questioning is WHY you make a statement like that when there are several threads open discussing this issue and you have posted in most of them?

How can you possibly think it is "Taboo" here when you yourself have participated in a number of them? If you have a complaint or something to say then lets hear it?
